NCCE TeachComputing Midlands West Hub

NCCE TeachComputing Midlands West Hub

The NCCE exists to ensure that all pupils in England have a world-class computing education, and to this end we aim to provide teachers with the knowledge, skills and understanding to be able and confident to deliver Computing and Computer Science. We do this through online and face-to-face courses and sessions, and through self-paced materials that lead to certified qualifications and accreditation. As well as a range of core courses we can create bespoke courses according to demand and local need. Courses are supported by a generous bursary – always useful for school budgets!

Our first point of contact with a school is usually to complete a 30-minute Needs Analysis, after which we prepare a suggested Action Plan with a selection of points to follow. If we discover similar needs in a locality we can arrange a bespoke face-to-face or remote course to meet local demand. Your kind offer of the use of meeting spaces at St. Peters and Woodfield Infants will be ideal for holding courses in Shropshire to raise the impact of computing education.
